Chapter 353 Deal Done
Chapter 353 Deal Done
Venedikt made it clear once again that the deal period would not change, nor were they interested in real-world assets or even becoming a shareholder in their guild, nor did they want any year-to-year payment plan.
In a last-ditch effort, they offered to extend the period to ten years, with each year\'s percentage of their earning they would share being 10% flat.
They even offered to sign an unconditional contract to help the organization in any situation in both worlds, even if they needed to face losses or backlash.
They promised support from Italy, America, Russia, and other countries\' governments.
Agostino, the Donatelli family head, even went as far as saying that the world was changing, referring to the awakened individuals, and the organization should know that it was in their best interest that big powers were working with them and not working against them to bring them down.
Alex knew such threats would come and had told Venedikt his plan and what the worst governments could do.
Venedikt played his persona beautifully, not showing a shred of fear or anger as he listened to various individuals seated around the table, each describing the benefits and disadvantages like they wanted what was best for the organization.
After the factions made the final offer, Venedikt told them that the organization\'s final offer was 30% of their earnings till three years before they renegotiated and 15% after the domain was made public indefinitely.
He gave them ten minutes to decide and not waste time making other offers, as this was the final offer. They could either take it or leave, and once the time ended, the deal was off the table, and they would never receive it, no matter what they were willing to offer.
The faction members wore displeased expressions, and the room was saturated with tension so palpable it could be sliced with a knife.
In stark contrast, Alex and Venedikt sat nonchalantly, savoring their tea, indifferent to the decisions the factions would reach.
Alex knew nearly 40% of a guild\'s earnings were typically allocated to maintenance, encompassing all forms of expenditures, while 15 to 20% was dedicated to expansion, which included elevating the guild\'s presence in the world from raid series, live streams, and promotions.
Another 20% was allocated to fortifying the guild comprehensively, covering military strengthening, individual member development, and investing in or expanding businesses.
This left any guild with 20 to 25% of their earning to be used for various endeavors, so asking for 15% was just the limit that the big factions would be willing to pay, even if it made their heart bleed.
The factions seemed to be in a pickle as they didn\'t want to agree to such a steep price, but it was also not far away from what they made up their mind to pay in case the organization was adamant about their conditions.
After minutes of discussion, the five factions agreed to Alex\'s demands but only after confirming that all their demands would be met.
They also added a new demand that each of their factions would be given two million entry tokens within a span of one year, but Alex didn\'t agree to it through a contract because he did not know if he would earn ten million Ruler points within a year.
However, he did give them his word that the organization would do its best to meet this demand and, if possible, surpass it by many folds.
A meticulously detailed contract was crafted, outlining the demands of both parties to the minutest details. It included severe consequences for both parties for any potential breach of the agreement.
Alex signed as the Domain Ruler and the organization leader, doing so anonymously, and as the deal concluded, everyone breathed a sigh of relief as a big burden was lifted.
The faction members held broad smiles as wine glasses were raised to celebrate the moment, but Venedikt quickly made them all sit down as work was not done yet.
There was only a single teleportation location for players, being inside the territory of Dwarfs, and even though one could travel from any city to any other territory through teleportation, once a player died, he would respawn inside the chamber in Vortarum city.
Alex had planned to create the respawn points all over the continent, but for the time being, they needed to be limited to a few clan territories.
A million players were not even enough to deal with the issues of a single clan, but they all couldn\'t be left in the dwarven clan\'s territory as that wouldn\'t send a good message among the other clans.
The surrounding clans to the dwarfs were Humans to the north, Elves to the west, and Giants in the west direction, and players could not be sent to any of these places because humans didn\'t need them, and the other two races were not welcoming of strangers.
This left the southern direction and other smaller clans in between these big clan borders, which included Gnomes, Lizardman, Orcs, Cyclops, Werewolves, and the major clan of Beastman.
There were other small and medium clans, so after giving them all the options, Alex spent the next hour just waiting for the factions to pick ten areas that covered four or five cities where they needed to keep closer to a hundred thousand players at all times.
After an hour and asking many questions, the factions picked the areas that they would operate in, and without a moment of wait, Alex handed each of them two hundred thousand entry tokens while also giving each of them a hundred superior entry tokens to travel back and forth.
Alex\'s end of the deal was almost done, as he just needed to visit the sixty cities to create the respawn centers, and then he just needed to wait for the rewards to start flowing.
Alex and Venedikt left the hotel, and like before, those went outside the city near the forest before doing their little celebration as they now had five big factions working for them for their entire lives.
There was a mountain of work awaiting both of them, so after their little celebration, they were ready to go and tackle the work at hand, but before that, there were a few things Alex had prepared for his brother.
The first was a legendary Beast Companion Egg that Alex stole from Morgan of the Aureate Merchect Group. When he first acquired it, he couldn\'t inspect its details, but he knew it was related to some space element beast.
Before coming to the dwarven hotel, Alex had checked the egg unknown Beast collecting dust in his inventory out of curiosity to see if it could be put to use, and to his surprise, it belonged to a legendary creature known as the Void Leviathan.
The Void Leviathan, an intelligent and composed draconic serpentine whale of formidable strength and immense potential, struck Alex as an excellent gift for Venedikt, and his brother liked it.
The creature needed to be bathed in space element mana and fed the same individual\'s blood for a hundred days to get hatched and bound to the said individual, so it would take quite some time before Venedikt would get his beast companion.
Alex then shared everyone the information he knew about the training chambers with Venedikt, and he was shocked, to say the least.
Alex gave Venedikt three seventh-rank entry badges that were for him, Andrei, and Saahira while also giving him over a thousand third-rank badges and emphasized the importance of giving the entry badges to only those who earned his confidence, with a strict contract to maintain utmost secrecy about the chambers.
The last thing Alex shared was the news that Venedikt and Andrei needed to come to America for at least a few months, as there were a few important things that he needed to share that could be told and shown without them being present in person.
Venedikt didn\'t have an issue with coming to America. Still, he raised his concern that their presence with Alex could cause some issues for him because even though those had slightly changed their appearance, they had used their real names.
Alex reassured him, explaining that those would be coming to America in a few weeks when news of the domain had been spread like wildfire, causing a stir among different factions eager to locate members of the organization.
Amid this chaos, many members who could be bought would be bought, turning them into molles, while those who would stay loyal would stay loyal.
At that time, Alex would make an example of a few rats, making many leave the organization, fearing being forced into a similar fate.
Venedikt and Andrei would also leave, at least in everyone\'s eyes, and after a few weeks of staying solo, those would start working for Shiekh as mercenaries because of their talents.
The powers could have doubts about everyone, even Shiekh, but as those couldn\'t make any links, they wouldn\'t be able to do anything.
Venedikt was impressed by Alex\'s foresight in preparing for everyone these scenarios, and after some small talk, it was time for them to leave and handle their work.
Venedikt, curious about the chambers, used his badge and was teleported to the chamber, while Alex left with Elder Darrien to go from city to city to create the respawn chambers.
