Chapter 91 - 90: Flirting is a Skillful Task

Chapter Ninety: Chatting Up Requires Skill

Turning the street corner, Finn Lewis finally took a deep breath. Holy hell! Man, he was so tense just now. Who knew chatting up girls was such a technical thing? He never found it difficult before. Although he couldn’t be as suave as Prince – not a petal clinging despite passing through a field of flowers, Finn was not awkward either, so casual conversation was usually not an issue.

But just now, he broke out in cold sweat, realizing it only after he left the shop.

After Finn left, Kay Lee opened her mouth to call him but didn’t. She muttered “Weird guy” and then sat down, starting on the cakes on the table. After all, her tummy had started rumbling. However, while eating, she kept thinking of that man as he seemed familiar.

At this moment, Finn was already waiting for Prince and Daniel Pan at the parking spot. From afar, Prince gave Finn a thumbs up before saying, “Nice job, perfect execution!”

“Perfect your sister! I was practically scared to death. Was I always this nervous talking to girls?” Finn laughed bitterly.

“Crap, are all girls the same? Besides, isn’t she your dream woman? You don’t see her as a woman; you see her as a goddess. How could you not be nervous talking to a goddess?” Prince sniggered, then hit the nail on the head. Finn rolled his eyes before asking, “What now? What should we do next?”

“Next? We wait for the next opportunity. You can’t show up too often before her, even an idiot knows that would be suspicious. But don’t wait too long either, or she’ll forget the deep impression you originally made.” Prince quickly snapped his fingers.

“Was the impression just now deep?” Finn asked, somewhat speechless.

“Of course! Do you know when one yields the highest efficiency in completing certain work?” Prince chuckled twice and quickly asked.

“When?” Finn looked at Prince, curious.

“When you’re holding in a dump or a piss, but can’t complete the work and can’t go to the toilet either.” Prince quickly replied.

“Damn! Aren’t you disgusting!” Finn rolled his eyes, but upon reflection, damn he’s genius, he wasn’t wrong at all.

“Similarly, when you’re hungry it’s the same. She must’ve been hungry, had her dinner at six in the evening, and had been shooting an advertisement the whole night without eating anything. Even Iron Man would be hungry now, and this is when one’s spirits would be most heightened. So, when you bring her food at this time, how can her impression of you not be deep?” Prince chuckled.

“It does seem you have a bit of truth in there.” Finn scratched his chin, before asking, “Any scientific basis?”

Prince was a bit surprised, then rolled his eyes and scorned Finn, “Any of your sister’s scientific basis!”

Regardless, the first encounter had ended just like that. After parting with Prince and Daniel Pan, Finn drove home. On the road, being bored, he wanted to check his reward redemption menu on his phone but was driving at the moment. Finn started feeling irritated as he wanted to do something but couldn’t. It’d be great if the car could drive itself. As he stared at his steering wheel, an odd idea popped up in his head but was immediately dismissed.

Damn, others can’t do it, but I can. And when he got to that, there was a light in Finn’s eyes. He quickly asked, “Zero, you mean I can custom order for points, right? How many points do I need if I want to customize a car?”

“List the car functions you need.” Instead of saying whether it’s possible or not, Zero asked Finn to enumerate the functions, leaving him in awe. Damn, it’s really possible!

“Since your search ability is so powerful, you must know the film Lightning Ranger, the latest one. If I wanted a car that could match the standard in there, how many points would I need?” Finn asked, eyes gleaming. The things men love are just a few, guns, cars, women. Among ninety percent of men, these three would be in the top ranks. Unquestionably, the car in Lightning Ranger is every man’s dream car.

“1000 points.” Zero gave a number that was almost unimaginable for Finn. Of course, it wasn’t because the points were high but much lower than Finn had imagined. Finn thought such a car would need at least a few thousand points, but who knew it’d be only 1000 points.

“If you own a private car modification workshop, the points can be reduced.” Zero added something rare, and a light flashed in Finn’s eyes. A private car modification workshop wasn’t difficult; such a workshop wouldn’t need to be very big, so naturally, the expenditure wouldn’t be high.

“Or you could choose to redeem a blueprint, a customized car blueprint for just 400 points. If I was to provide the raw materials, that would be another 200 points making it a total of 600 points, but then you would require a handcraft car workshop.” Zero threw another bomb at Finn.

Now, Finn’s eyes were literally shining. Damn! It’s just 600 points. You know, Finn’s points had once reached that number before, but it was much lower than what he had imagined. But now, there’s a problem, that of a handcraft car workshop. Despite being described as a workshop, it’s actually equivalent to a small car manufacturing factory, and definitely wouldn’t fall short of the mainstream car assembly lines. This setup resembles some of the world-renowned branded cars, many of which were similar to this handcraft car workshop.

However, to Finn, this condition was quite restrictive but definitely piqued his interest. After driving back on the road, Finn’s head filled with the idea of points. But at the moment, Zero hadn’t given him a new task, especially those that could be completed in a short term. He did have a long-term task but the completion period of that was uncertain.

If Kay Lee was easy to pursue, who knows how many times she’d have been won over now? Finn couldn’t believe there weren’t rich guys who liked Kay Lee in this circle, but did they succeed? No! Therefore, this task, though it had 10,000 points, was definitely not something Finn could complete in a short time.

So if he wanted to earn points, he had to find other ways. Without thinking, Finn remembered a method he thought of previously, this illegal business. Although it’s illegal, Finn didn’t want to use it for evil deeds. Wasn’t he doing this to do good in the future? He made an excuse for himself..
