My Mother Has a System but Won't Use It

Chapter 83 Mirror

Chapter 83  Mirror

Then, taking her on his back, he walked out of the bathroom. He could hear Liyue's faint breathing from inside the room just near them. 'Still asleep?' he pondered and went back to his room.

Gently, he put his mom on a clean part of the bed and covered her with a blanket.

'Now, it's about time I put my full focus on cultivation…' Han Li sat to the side and started his final calculations.

Breaking through to the Power Birth Realm. That was his next major goal. But before that, he had some things that he had to accomplish.

For one, the most important step to reaching the major goal — to make his body as perfect as possible. For now, he could cultivate 3 stages of the 'Demonic Transformation'.

So, he had to cultivate any of the good three.

'So, my first step in reaching Power Birth, is to complete my Skin Transformation.' He pondered as he thought about the amount of crystals he needed.

1000 crystals. He needed exactly 1000 to make his Skin reach perfection.

'If I cultivate with mom at the current level, I can have her 4 times a day at most and that will completely drain her weak. That would only be bad for her.'

It would not push her to her limits but break her mind. Pleasure was not all good and games, it could be a drug or even poison at times. Han Li knew it clearly too!

He didn't want his mom to lose her potential. But, that was the case with her body at this point. If he improved it using the Earth berries, she should be able to do it about 5 times a day without truly bad conclusions to her or himself.

Even though his body had become a top-notch one for a mortal — He was still limited in some things like his own dick. He was still a man. He couldn't just unlimitedly go on on sex without some unique magical powers or transforming his organs into Lust Demon ones.

So, even if she became more enduring, six times would be the optimal maximum amount. And that was a limit. Han Li pondered with a calm mind. 6 times, that was about as much as 3 crystals a day. And add that with 5 crystals he would naturally accumulate in his body every week. That was 21 crystals a week. His eyes shimmered and he licked his lips.

That meant he would get 1000 Crystals within a year. About 47 weeks in exact. 11 months in short. 11 months and he would finally have enough to perfect his skin.

He was already earning miles above normal people. He smirked, that was the benefit of having a Spark related to the Dao of Life like Lust.

Every one of the Life Dao Sparks was like this. They always had another way of accumulating energy other than meditation — Doing what their Spark tells them to do.

He looked deeply at the ground and contemplated on his next move after that, but then shook his head. 'This is the time for one step at a time, rushing can only make everything chaotic. The best thing to do is just calm down and do it slowly, I am miles ahead of my previous life already after all.'

At this point in his previous life, he had barely Awakened by having his mother's backside and was still far away from Evolution. But maybe, as someone wise once said, man proposes and nature disposes. Nothing ever goes as planned. …

The sound of ancient drums rang out as a white flag flapped in the air.

The Bone clan people underneath the eaves of an ancient tree screamed in excitement as a young man walked out of the stage, a calm smile on his face. A willowy sound rang out inside his head, "Good job at succeeding in your evolution. But do not get cocky, you are just like all the other people in the world. Weak against the laws of nature, that same thing goes for awakened and Evolved. In the end, infront of a tsunami, both of you bunch will die."

'Okay, Mr. Obvious, anything more?' the boy asked back in amusement. "Yes, there is something more. I can feel that someone around me used one of my mirrors. But this guy seems to be far different from our usual bunch. It had already been many days and I barely got back the info now — even that is unclear."

'Oh, how?' Intrigued, the pale-eyed young man vanished amidst the crowd of happily roaring people and entered a cottage. "This kid's mind is far too strong for me to believe he is normal. Ordinarily, what my mirror does is, reflect other people's hearts. And that is only possible for people with weaker Dao hearts than mine. And it is far too easy for me to do it."

'Not Dao Heart, but instead the heart of cultivation, but still, But this one was different?' The pale-eyed young boy looked at a small hole inside the cottage filled with blood. It was a pond — solely made of human blood.

Sometimes, infantile heads floated up and down and he smirked at each of them.

"But this guy had a Dao Heart almost as strong as me. Even though it was considerably weaker, it is not by far. And I fear, this guy might be trouble for our plans."

'Your plans, not ours. And let me be clear on one thing, is this guy from one of the 4 sects?'

"No, this guy's aura came from near us. My mirror broke apart and I couldn't even absorb a part of his mind after the dao heart battle like usual. We were about the same level."

'Do you think he noticed?' The young man started to grow slightly uneasy. Whatever he said and did, someone as strong or even nearly as strong as the presence inside his mind scared him to his core.

This willowy and sinister-faced old woman was anything but not weak. He knew what she was capable of and how disgustingly and strong she could be.

He had seen in many of his dreams of what she was capable of. "I don't think he noticed the mirror's peculiarities. But neither could I figure out his peculiarities. But he was in a passive position in the first place, so son't underestimate him. I have the feeling that if he knew someone was behind the mirror, I would be the one in trouble."

'Do you have anything useful on this man?'

"For one, he is weaker than you by a long distance. Barely an Awakened."

'Oi, what do you mean?' n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"That's what I don't get too. My gaze did roam around his body for a  faint second but that was barely enough to tell me his cultivation stage and appearance.

"Black hair, caramel white face, red eyes. More on the handsome side of the spectrum, and a strong body. Probably top-notch for a mortal."

'So, where did you see this weird guy?' The young boy walked into the pond of blood as he asked, his expression slowly transforming into one of heavy satisfaction.

"Around the most southern part of the continent, Southern Lust City, but he was probably not part of any of the three clans. Nevertheless, my mirror's smell remains on him, I am sure no one other than at least a power born can remove it."

'Where are you headed with this conversation, Old Poison?' the boy sneered, completely unmindful of this greedy bitch's needs. He had no need to risk his own life against someone as strange as what she said.

"That's where you are wrong, brat, listen to me, this weird guy knows nothing about you and you know that he is very, very weird. The advantages are on our side, you could totally go and become one of his friends, allies, or whatever and just watch him from the side. Believe me, in the land of cultivation, one thing has always been prominent. The more weird you are, the likelier you are to be special.I bet that guy has some tremendous secret."

'…What makes you so sure?'

"Do you think a Transcendent, someone like me, has a weak Dao Heart like you bunch? No junior can ever dream of acquiring it. No matter how godly a talent you might be."

'How long does it take for us to reach this city again?' He knew the old woman couldn't lie to him even if she wanted to. Their souls had already been linked after all.

That was why he was so bold in the first place.
