Chapter 149 The unexpected benefit
Han Li calmly explained to his Mom that he was about to have a breakthrough in transforming his organs to those similar to the Sacred Demon, and his mother looked at him curiously. Remembering the last time she had seen his Skin become stronger.
"The skin gave you the ability to vibrate. Will Organs give you something like that, too?" She asked while rubbing her eyes off of sleep, sitting before him and looking at him curiously.
Han Li didn't respond and kept his eyes closed.
Yue Li pouted but focused her gaze on his forehead; there was a red mole there, inconspicuous enough that not even Li Yao and Liyue had noticed it yet. It needed to be searched to be found. But she remembered that he got it when his skin was transformed.
Han Li was in his own thoughts.
Li Shuanwei. Yes, now he remembered that person once more.
Why didn't Life Vision work on him?
Life Vision told him that person was just Unawakened, even in his twenties. So why was he said to cultivate a different path? Why?
Was Life Vision a flawed ability of his Three Life Sacred Eyes?
Did he put too much faith in this gimmick?
Maybe the people after Li Shuanwei, especially the Power Born Demonic Ice Fairy, were mistaken and just making a mess for no reason.
'Maybe I am thinking too much into it…' He also thought the same; his life vision hadn't betrayed him as of yet other than with Li Shuanwei.
The words he heard about that man came back to him.
"He is said to be an Unawakened, but that is bullshit; that person is not who he seems to be. He is a cultivator, but just not the way we know it…"
Han Li's eyes calmly opened. Scarlet embers seemed buried beneath. His gaze was cold, calculating, and curious. There was no smoke without a fire like there were no rumors without a basis. And the fact that both changes that happened in the timeline—the existence of a new player, Li Shuanwei, and the Heaven Rising that was early by almost forty-plus years… Everything seemed joined as if in a puzzle, but he missed the key pieces.
It seemed oddly intriguing that such an insignificant character in his past life could be so influential in this Era. Thinking deeper, Han Li wondered whether he was one of the other Sacred Eye inheritors.
Could he be?
Two of us from one city?
'There is no use climbing a tree to catch a fish. My current focus shouldn't be there. Yang Wei, he is no less worrying than any others.'
The Spirit inside Yang Wei made Han Li worried. It was an Unknown.
What was the Spirit?
There were no such things in this world as far as he knew. When you die, you ascend to heaven and become a star if you are a Power Born at the very least. If not, you just assimilate into the surroundings as pure Energy.
But what about the Spirit inside Yang Wei?
Even the Sacred Demons had died and perished. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
After all, in the first few pages of the Demonic Lust Sutra, Lust Demon had asked Han Li to revive him if he ended up having surpassed the level of Sacred Demons. So what was this… Spirit? (check chapter 1 for reference)
Is the Spirit something even beyond the Sacred Demons?
It couldn't be.
Han Li frowned, but then shrugged.
"The future seems to hold more and more intrigue by the day. I can't wait to see it unfold."
Yue Li blinked at her son's words and wanted to ask something, but he closed his eyes with a wink, and she could only look at him with curiosity. Han Li's consciousness, on the other hand, moved into his Empty Space.
The Empty Space, in a sense, the egg of an unborn world yet to be. Maybe someday, it would also become a Demon World. Flourishing with life and much more.
But that was a distant dream. For now, the only thing infront of him was darkness, Dao Soul, and Dao Crystals—that was his Empty Space.
His Dao Soul of Lust stood there in the darkness, like a sole light in emptiness itself. There were some Dao Crystals around it, but they were not half as bright as it was.
Han Li's Dao Soul was different. It had the Ethereal feel of an Ethereal Type Cultivator, with a half-transparent Dao Soul that had reddish skin and organs faintly visible underneath it—it looked weird but strangely beautiful. It was also becoming more and more solid.

It was a unique sight even among all Dao Souls.
Usually, Dao Souls were transparent apparitions for the Ethereal Type Cultivators. Meanwhile, Transformation Type Cultivators' Dao Soul would have a semi-bestial appearance, and even though they would be more substantial, they would lose the ability to use Magic Powers.
Han Li's Dao Soul was different. It had the Ethereal feel of an Ethereal Type Cultivator, with a half-transparent Dao Soul that had reddish skin and organs faintly visible underneath it—it looked weird but strangely beautiful. It was also becoming more and more solid.
Ten of the Dao Crystals around it congregated towards it and jumped into the Dao Soul and assimilated with it, merging like the one missing piece in a puzzle, the Organs inside the Dao Souls started to brighten like little red suns.
Han Li opened his eyes to the outside world. His gaze bright and his heart pumping like drums.
Yue Li looked at him with a stunned gaze.
His whole body seemed to shine with red light, like a cape made of wisps hung behind him, while his eyes seemed like red orbs chaotically bright as they took in the world's brilliance.
Her gaze shifted to his forehead. There, another red mole appeared beside the first one, and both moles suddenly became a bit more conspicuous.
Suddenly, the red light around him vanished, and Han Li took a deep breath. It was like a sudden feeling inundated her, a feeling so immensely cold, Yue Li felt her goosebumps rise and her eyes shrink. The sensation was akin to standing in front of a beast, a tiger in the woods as it opened its maw gently.
She couldn't move.
The sheer explosive aura was so oppressing that her heart pounded, cold sweat appeared on her, but it didn't last, she found a warm hand gently caressing her cheek, pinching it like you would do with a naughty child.
She looked at him with a wronged expression and immediately realized his looks had changed…
Was handsome the word?
She doubted it.
