Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 50: Chakra Points, Parting

"Yep," Lily nodded. "We should start that quest after leaving."

Almond climbed up first after storing Alfred and Viperfiend in his spirit pocket, after which Viperfiend used his arms to pull up Lily and Natalia.

There was also an option to stay in the cavern until the exit portal appeared, but they would have to stay for over ten hours there.

As such, the party started descending the mountain at a faster pace.

Most of the Adventurers were still hunting in Frostbite Cliffs, so there was no one to court death as they descended. After all, it wasn’t that uncommon for adventurers to loot others on the 3rd day.

A risky move, so only big groups would do that.

The target could either fight for their items or give up on life. Threats from a big group often worked towards smaller groups.

Over the years, the GAA received many complaints and worked to resolve the issue, capturing looters outside and imprisoning them.

There were also some groups who killed others, and someone witnessed it coincidently, leading to their punishment. With the changing world, rules and means to get information were easy with the usage of skills.

So, although the number of looters decreased, they weren’t completely gone.

The party successfully descended the mountain without anyone looking to court their deaths.

Almond originally planned to go to the Fallen Monastery town, but his specialized class’s perk changed his mind.

His perception and focus stats surpassed the 50-point mark with the class perk, so Lily and he decided to open Chakra points.

Lily had firsthand experience on how someone could do that properly, and Almond had a self-experimented experience.

They decided to return to the starting area and open chakra points on Almond.

On the way back to the starting area, Almond started feeling something weird. He felt as if he was being observed.

He ignored it at first, thinking that a monster might have seen him, and his high mental stats captured that gaze, leaving his instincts to push this notion that he was being observed.

But this happened again when he passed by the Goblin Settlement.

And again, when he passed by the Goblin Camp, where he had killed Jacob, Seyung, and Lamp.

’What’s going on? I’ve checked thoroughly, but I saw no monsters. So why do I feel like I am being observed?’

Almond shared his findings with Lily after they got through the Direwolf woods.

"Was that why you stopped to look around at those two places?" Natalia raised her eyebrows.

"Yeah, but I saw no monsters," Almond said, his brows furrowed. "I really don’t think I am feeling this for nothing."

"I believe you," Lily nodded. "With your current level of perception and focus added to your natural cautiousness and mental attributes, your instincts and intuitions should be high. You can’t be wrong about the feeling of getting observed."

She thought of something and added, "I might have a clue, but I can’t confirm it here. I have to go outside."

"Alright. Since there’s no use thinking about this, let’s get started."

They arrived at the starting area, one of the eight stone chambers where people would spawn once they entered any Labyrinth gate outside.

Lily and Almond sat across each other as Lily guided Almond. Since she knew the method of properly detecting Chakra points from her father, who did this procedure on her, she taught it to Almond, who slowly began to proceed and find Chakra points one by one and carefully opened using Mana without the hellish pain he had gone through in his reckless method.

On the other hand, Natalia began practicing her specialized class’s skill: Chaosbound Requiem. She played different instruments, seeing how well she was with each, and practicing them since there was nothing else to do.

Almond and Lily were absorbed in opening Chakra points all over Almond’s body.

Rumor had it that there were hundreds of chakra points within the body, some so hidden that they required extremely high perception and focus to find.

There were a few frontline Adventurers who had some kind of unique power unrelated to skills or classes but purely via some mysterious hidden chakra points.

This was a mix of speculation and truth formed by people by watching videos and streams from frontline adventurers, with one of them even revealing a hidden chakra point’s ’experience.’

Since there were also mentions of chakra points in texts from ancient countries that existed thousands of years ago, many believed there were some special chakra points that could grant unique powers.

The top Adventurers also periodically scanned their bodies in deeper layers with growing power, trying to find them. Those who had ’apparently’ succeeded haven’t revealed much about them as well as nobody who ’supposedly’ opened one had actually come forward with solid information.

But it was clear there was truth to this, and it was only a matter of time before it revealed itself to some people, and some more, and then everyone.

Time passed by in the blink of an eye, and while Almond and Lily had taken a few breaks and continued with their chakra points opening session for hours, they didn’t realize the time was over until the exit portal opened nearby them.

"We opened over three hundred Chakra points in your body," Lily said as a mischievous glint flashed across her eyes, and her hand went towards Almond’s crotch. "The only place that’s left is this, and your bum at the back."

"Cough…I can do that on my own," Almond said before he came true to his desire and added, "or we can continue after I return, what do you say?"

"That’s better," Lily grinned and leaned on him as her arms went around his shoulder, "See you later, darling~"

*Smooch*

"Yes, yes, that’s enough. We are getting late, Mama Lily."

Natalia glanced back at Almond and stuck out her tongue as she Magic Whispered to him, ’Lily will be mine until you return.’

"Have fun, you two," Almond chuckled. He knew Lily wasn’t into girls. She was a true woman down to her wild instincts, seeking an ideal male mate and power.

As they two left, Almond turned around and stretched his arms and legs, "Now then…"

Coming out of the stone chambers, it was already evening as the portal opened at 7 in the evening and remained until 12 ’o midnight.

"Let’s see how it feels to hunt at night."

Almond left at full speed, and his senses wide opened.

Over the past three days, his natural hunting and survival instincts had sharpened, and combined with his powerful physical and mental attributes, he felt practically invincible on the labyrinth’s first floor—unless he did something reckless, which he wouldn’t do.

As such, with his two powerful classes and his innate talent that increased his recovery drastically, he was about to speed-hunt every single different kind of monster at silver level 6 and above on this floor to raise his stat points at the maximum possible!
