Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 57: Almonds Solo Speed-Run Adventure (2/2)

He could transform his arms into blades.

He could become larger in size.

He could turn fully beast mode like Manticore, which had multiple beasts’ features, but unlike Manticore, this Spirit Wraith looked like a slick nightmare.

Four legs, four pairs of big crystalized thin wings with colorful patterns, three tails with blade-like tip parts, a large variety of two horns on all three heads—one lion-like head, one Beaver-like head, and the third being a mix of fairy and harpy head, leaning towards human-style face just like those two boss monsters.

Almond named this Spirit Wraith [Chimera Frank] since this guy was a true monster in human-like form and no doubt the strongest Spirit Wraith so far.

It had tons of strong skills and high base stats.

It was already at Silver level 5 when it manifested like the Chimera Viperfiend, with easy 42 stat points to distribute on top of its already high stats.

Almond realized that boss-type monsters’ Spirits played a huge part in making this Spirit Wraith so strong.

He had already planned to make the next Spirit Wraith, which he figured would be even more crazier.

He had two Boss monsters’ spirits from Fallen Monastery town and five from Valley of Shadowsong.

The two bosses in Fallen Monastery Town were fully humanoid—Bishop of Dark Faith and Apostal of Blighted Chalice.

This area had basically ghouls-version of Priests and Priestesses as monsters, so they were all kind of humanoids.

He had kept these thirteen spirits of monsters of this area just for the next Spirit Kodoku creation.

After putting five boss monster spirits of Valley of Shadowsong, two boss monsters, and thirteen other spirits of Fallen Monastery Town, Almond left the Valley of Shadowsong and went to another inner-area location like Fallen Monstery Town—Doomed Citadel.

After clearing the Dommed Citadel, boosting more stats, and getting two more Boss Spirits from this area along with a lucky drop of a Rare-grade item, Almond went to the third big area—Wonder Tree-Topia.

Speedrunning this large area as well, he got more stat boost and five more Boss spirits, and by the time he was finished with this area, his 4th Spirit Wraith was completed.

But Almond didn’t bother using it, nor did he use his other Spirit Wraiths. There was no need. He was sufficiently fast alone.

Naturally, he did put together 20 Spirits in Spirit Kodoku again, with 7 of them being boss monster spirits from Doomed Citadel and Wonder Tree-Topia.

Sun was going down afterward, but he pushed further and cleared the third Inner-area location—Plagued Necropolis before the clock hit 12 ’o midnight.

With four Spirit Wraiths—Alfred, Chimera Viperfiend, Chimera Frank, and Dark Pope guarding him, Almond slept like a baby without any worry on top of a big tree’s branch a kilometer away from Plagued Necropolis.

The Labyrinth’s first floor had a total of thirteen monster-infested areas.

If one looked at the map, their location would be drawn as mentioned below:

1- Fairy Mountain (Major area)—Southwest.

2- Valley of Shadowsong (Major area)—West.

3- Wonder Tree-Topia (Major area)—Northwest.

4- Twilight Cove (Major area)—North.

5- Crystal Hollow (Major area)—Northeast.

6- Ashen Fields (Major area)—East.

7- Starfall Basin (Major area)—Southeast.

8- Frostlight Grotto (Major area)—South.

These were the eight major areas that one would choose based on one of the eight starting spawn points. Almond was already done with three of them and also finished three out of four Inner areas.

— Fallen Monastery Town (Inner area).

— Doomed Citadel (Inner area).

— Plagued Necropolis (Inner area).

— Burial Light Forest (Inner area).

These four inner areas were in the inner circle of the floor.

Finally, the centermost area of the first floor, where the floor boss would spawn once conditions were met. Continue your saga on mvl

Heart of Wildered—Center-area.

The conditions of the first floor’s boss spawning were pretty simple. There were four items with Special-rank in their description found in four inner areas’ main boss rooms. The description of the items mentioned these items being Floor Boss’s requirements along with the Floor Boss spawn location’s name, so it was easy to know what to do.

Almond had two more days before the 3rd cycle of the Labyrinth began.

He didn’t mind fighting in the 3rd cycle with increased difficulty, but he wasn’t going to delay just to do that.

He planned to clear the rest of the areas and kill the Floor Boss to clear his first floor and get access to the second floor.

The plan to clear the first floor via Floor Trial went to naught since he and Lily spent the whole remaining time of the 3rd day opening his Chakra points.

As such, although he could do the floor trial after the girls left, he didn’t do it since he had decided to kill the Floor Boss on his own to clear the floor instead of doing the floor trial.

Almond woke up after eight hours of sleep and resumed his solo adventure, his 5th Spirit Wraith still in the making.

On the other hand, Lily and Natalia were still in meditation.

They entered meditation at 10 in the morning yesterday, and the clock was already hitting 9 o’clock the next day morning.

They were in meditation for 23 hours.

There was a known limit of Skill Insight period, and it was 24 hours. Spending the whole 24 hours meant that one gained the full benefits of the Skill Insight period.

Both of them opened their eyes when the 24th hour passed by.

"Urgh…" Natalia clutched her head and lay on the floor. "This headache is annoying."

"But worth it," Lily smiled as she also lay on the floor. "I had a long, fun dream of fighting with exotic powers related to my class that I was designing."

"Same," Natalia couldn’t help but grin, thinking of the dream. "Anyway, let’s quickly submit our second skill design, eat and then sleep. I’m tired as fuck."

"Yep."
