Chapter 121: The King of Catastrophe, Keikoku Amane (9)
Under normal circumstances, it would have been impossible, as his passive defense field annihilated all incoming attacks before they could reach his skin. Yet, she managed to penetrate his defenses without being destroyed. His ability wasn\'t deactivated—her sword bypassed his shield entirely, cutting through him while it was still fully active.
He did not know but his biggest mistake was trying to overwhelm her without activating his Antimatter Wings first.
Soo Jinyoung possessed the Dragon Demon Eyes, which could see the hidden \'Mysteries\' of the world.
No matter how impenetrable a shield or barrier appeared to be on the outside, It always possessed one or two weak points or black lines known as \'Errors\'. As long as she accurately struck those weak points or black lines, she would be able to bypass all forms of defence.
Soo Jinyoung exploited his overreliance on his ability, turning it against him, and delivered a devastating blow.
"Damnit! Fuck! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccckkkkkkk!!"
Keikoku roared and six wings exploded from his back.
The ground exploded and his body was thrown into the air. He did not charge towards Soo Jinyoung, but moved the opposite direction instead.
He was attempting to flee from the vicinity.
He was not a warrior. Therefore, he felt no obligation to adhere to notions of honor or pride; leaving a fight in which he was at a disadvantage was simply a pragmatic choice.
There was only a few minutes left before the end of the Fable. He didn\'t necessarily need to fight. All he needed to do was run, hide and he would win.
If he succeeded, the destruction of Seoul would accelerate. Simply put, everyone within Seoul will be destroyed along with the ruined Seoul.
Soo Jinyoung could reincarnate because of her Divine Protection. Meaning, she could start afresh again in a new world even If she was killed in the old world.
Despite that, she moved to block him at once.
[Seven Heavenly Swordsmanship has activated.]
She swung her sword and something flashed towards Keikoku Amane at incredible speed in the air.
The strike penetrated cleanly through Keikoku\'s defenses and sliced off his wings. As he fell to the ground, Soo Jinyoung leaped using Cloud Step and aimed her sword towards his neck.
"....!"
However, the attack didn\'t land. Keikoku narrowly avoided a critical injury by retreating just in time using his Lv. 100 Agility.
"Damnit. Leave me alone, you vile woman!"
Keikoku Amane landed on the ground and prepared to unleash an attack.
[Antimatter Cannon Lv. 10]
To counter the incoming attack she had anticipated, Soo Jinyoung activated Cloud Step once more and descended swiftly. With a powerful vertical swing of the Red Phoenix Sword, she pierced through his defenses and cleanly sliced his right side.
Keikoku Amane\'s physique was at Lv. 100. Therefore, an attack from someone with only Level 60 strength shouldn\'t have been capable of inflicting any damage, even if his body was struck a thousand times due to the overwhelming difference.
However, his skin was cut and blood gushed out.
"Aaacckk!"
Keikoku screamed and staggered backwards.
Seeing Soo Jinyoung rushing towards him, he manipulated Antimatter into an invisible thread and launched it at his opponent in the form of a sword swing.
But it did not hit.
Soo Jinyoung swiftly bent her body low, sliding across the floor as the attack whizzed just above her and Keikoku was cut deep.
The fight was more or less over.
The sword sliced open Keikoku\'s stomach and he lost all strength in his knees. Then he was struck with a kick that pushed backwards and his body rolled onto the gravel for a bit.
The kick itself was weak and didn\'t cause direct harm due to the difference in their stats, but it struck right where his cut was, aggravating the injury.
"Hah... Hah..."
Keikoku Amane collapsed to his knees on the gravel, helpless. As he lifted his gaze, his heart seized with terror at the sight of Soo Jinyoung approaching, sword in hand, radiating an overwhelming aura of killing intent.
She didn\'t die when she was killed. She didn\'t die from having her body sliced, diced or exploded. She survived an explosion equivalent to a nuclear bomb and had the ability to bypass his passive shield.
All things considered, there was no way that person could be human.
She was a monster.
Keikoku clawed his way across the gravel, desperate to escape the advancing Soo Jinyoung, who resembled some kind of evil spirit.
(Am I going to die like this?)
"No!" Keikoku shook his head to deny such a reality.
He had never known the sting of defeat or the weight of true loss. Such a possibility had never even crossed his mind, leaving him completely unprepared. But now, as the crushing reality of defeat set in, he found himself utterly overwhelmed by it.
「 He was going to die 」
Once he finally realised the reality of the situation, a change occurred inside his head.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGG!"
An excruciating headache. It felt like something sharp had burrowed deep into his brain, slicing away both his suffering and his despair along with his Stories. An unknown liquid darker than black and thicker than tears proceeded to flow down from his eyes.
It was definitely unnatural, disgusting and uncomfortable.
Something had entered into the depths of his mind and transformed the existence known as Keikoku Amane.
He was no longer the Disaster of Storms, but something even more fundamentally evil.
"?!"
Soo Jinyoung stopped moving. But It was too late even if she realized something had changed within Keikoku Amane.
"Zikakikekokikokukikikakakakikukokokokikekekakikokakukikikikukokokikikakakikukokokukikikikikaka."
With a roar, something \'murky black\' exploded from his back. Six wings that contained the poison of a Disaster and the stories of despair beyond the territory of humans, spread instantly over hundreds of meters in the air to the maximum, and distorted the space around it in the form of a storm. They emitted a mysterious glow and almost sounded like a machine.
Almost like a giant weapon wielded by angels and demons.
Nobody needed to tell Soo Jinyoung what those wings were made of.
It was Antimatter.
Boom! With a sonic boom, the six wings that held the power to split the Earth in half vertically came down upon Soo Jinyoung\'s head.
Upon realising she won\'t be able to dodge, she reflexively raised her sword to defend herself.
She used the sword to cut the Errors within those wings. However, she felt no reaction.
She was unable to dispel it completely.
"!!"
She was pushed back ten metres by the black wings that threatened to claim her life.
"Tck!"
Instead of cutting, she pushed demon strike away and at the same time, created distance by jumping away.
Even so, she had no time to rest. Another wing flew towards her, aiming to sever her head.
This time, It was a horizontal strike.
Soo Jinyoung repelled it again with the Red Pheonix Sword. While doing so, she used the Dragon Demon Eyes to look at the Errors.
"...."
Countless black lines flowed around the Antimatter Wings, but It was not a smooth flow.
The flow of errors were chaotic, constantly shifting from place to place. Although she could see the flaws in all things, that didn\'t mean she could strike them all. She was powerless against attacks that obliterated everything within a fixed area or shields with Errors that were in constant flux. Perhaps something else had mixed in with those wings causing the flow of errors to become chaotic.
Soo Jinyoung didn\'t know and she didn\'t completely understand the mechanics of the \'Errors,\' but she knew attempting to cut the Errors of the Antimatter Wings would put her in serious danger.
Fmmm! The air around the six wings let out a howl as it gathered strength and distorted the surrounding space.
Soo Jinyoung prepared herself for the next attack.
The battlefield was basically an open field as a result of the last explosion. She won\'t be able to run around and buy time like she did before.
Considering the speed of those wings, I\'ll be in trouble the moment I try to run and using Cloud Step is not the great choice.
I can\'t enter his space to attack and I can\'t run away, so I\'m stuck with defending again. But the scenario is difficult this time.
I\'m almost out of magic power. If I run out of mana, I won\'t be able to repair my body. If I\'m not killed off by those wings, I\'ll be killed off by the radiation.
That person said I should buy time as much as possible, but there\'s a possibility that was a lie. That person must have already escaped by now.
In the end, I can\'t rely on anyone but myself.
No matter how she thought about it, she was definitely at a disadvantage in this scenario. She was low on magic power and no one was coming to save her. Even Kim Jakga who called himself a \'seer\' had already perished.
Even so, she strengthened the grip on her sword.
Running away was not an option. Even if she was greatly outclassed, she would still continue to fight.
Reason? Her will wasn\'t so fragile she would give up just because of a single setback. If that was the case, she wouldn\'t have started this endless journey to begin with.
Therefore....
She took a single step towards the calamity. However, before she could take her second step...
Splat!
Soo Jinyoung\'s body was pushed deep into the gravel by a great power.
"What...?"
She did not understand what had happened to her.
Keikoku Amane did not move from his position and his wings remained stationary. He just stared at her from distance and subtly gestured with his hand while mumbling incoherent words under his breath.
The enemy had the power to generate and control Antimatter. But was that the only power he possessed in his arsenal?
Definitely not. Someone who destoryed 9,999 planets would obviously have tons of skills under his possession. Perhaps he had used a secondary power to pin her into the earth.
(Ah! ...Uwah! Wh-Wha?! What did he use? Wait... Hold on....)
Soo Jinyoung\'s mind wandered towards a certain direction. Abruptly, she had realised something.
If Keikoku\'s power was limited to controlling only antimatter, it would be practically useless. Earth doesn\'t contain significant amounts of antimatter, and even if he could generate it, any contact with air would cause it to explode. Simply put, his ability would be useless in general. Even so, he was still able to create those six wings behind him without causing an explosion.
What if he possessed a secondary power that allowed him to do just that?
Despite being crushed by an overwhelming force, Soo Jinyoung still managed to summon the strength to activate a skill.
[Exclusive skill, Dragon Demon Eyes has activated.]

Soo Jinyoung checked his information and opened his endless list of skills. Most of them were irrelevant and impractical in a fight. She continued scrolling with her eyes until she found the answer.
[Vector Control Lv. 5]
"Ha ha! ha! ha! ha! Are you kidding me..."
A slight smile formed on Soo Jinyoung\'s lips. She had discovered the mystery behind Keikoku\'s Antimatter, but she felt no genuine happiness or satisfaction.
In theory, It made absolute sense.
If he was truly able to manipulate vectors, It would explain how he was able to create Antimatter constructs without them exploding. By manipulating vectors, Keikoku Amane could prevent antimatter from coming into contact with air or any other matter. He would even be able to manipulate other forces like gravitational forces which he had used to pin her down.
Yet, he managed to achieve this with only a Level 5 Vector Control?
It was completely unreasonable. Perhaps even Keikoku Amane was not aware of this ability.
".... yjrpEVILqw!"
Bullshit! This is complete bullshit.... Soo Jinyoung wanted to shout out those words, but the six massive blades were already upon her. The attack was more like a bombardment from all directions.
An explosion erupted.
Flames and black dirt exploded up greater than 10 meters into the air and continued to extend as the earth itself was torn apart by the overwhelming force. The shockwave blasted through the battlefield, sending debris flying in all directions, while a suffocating cloud of dust and flames engulfed everything in its path.
For a moment, the entire area seemed swallowed by the chaos of destruction, leaving no trace of Soo Jinyoung or her whereabouts.
