With his speed doubled and strength quadrupled, William rushed by the Soul Formation Cultivator to his friends before anyone was able to hold them as hostages. Once he had a proper hold of them, William ran a short distance away to decrease the chance of Gu Dianlong interrupting him, then opened a long-distance portal to the Livingwood Forest.

With his Vision Talent greatly improved, William was able to see the situation all the way in the Livingwood Forest, which was why he took his friends there. The greatest danger was in the middle stages of the Golden Core Realm, and William had confidence that Carl alone could protect them from such an enemy.

The Sect Master used the Time Element to try to rewind the events, but William\'s own Time Element cancelled out the effect. This was one of the biggest downsides to Time Magic, since someone with even E-Rank Time Affinity would be less susceptible to the effects of temporal distortion.

Since William\'s Time Affinity was S-Rank, he could even open a Time Domain that controlled the Element even more precisely than Gu Dianlong could, pushing time backwards, forwards, or even holding it completely still at his will.

He hadn\'t done this before during his battle with Gu Dianlong, though because of three reasons. He didn\'t sense the usual killing intent that one would feel during a high-level battle, but he also knew it wouldn\'t affect the Sect Master given his Time Element.

The third reason was entirely because of the Cultivation of William\'s opponents. As Soul Formation and Tribulation Transcendence Cultivators, even an S-Rank Time Affinity couldn\'t affect them on a great scale. It was the same as William\'s Fire Element, only useful to cause superficial damage or for trickery.

He would need to either reach the Nascent Soul Realm or raise his Affinities to an even higher rank to have a great effect in battle.

Of course, William couldn\'t do that mid battle. Even if he could, the Time Element upgrade would probably kill him of old age. Since his System Panel was available once again, he could clearly see his Status, and it wasn\'t looking good.

His Moneybags Title had ranked up when he received the Thieves\' Guild bounties, which raised his Fame by 35, but he didn\'t care about that right now.

What mattered the most was that even after reaching the Core Formation Realm, his Lifespan had only increased to 600 years. While it was still a long time, he had aged a lot during the Chaos upgrade.

Until he could survive his Elemental upgrades without triggering the Regeneration side effects, William didn\'t plan to take such a risk again.

That being said, he made sure his friends were in a safe place before turning to face the enemy Cultivators. He could run from them indefinitely, but William didn\'t find that fun. He was already pissed off when they tried to take his friends as hostages, but after saying such cheesy lines he couldn\'t take it anymore.

If there\'s anything I hate more than mashed potatoes and Alchemists, it\'s cringe. William shuddered as he recalled Baldie\'s words. The man was still staring at William calmly, like a super villain that had everything under his control.

It was quite hilarious, and stupid, to be honest.

"Hey Baldie, how did you even reach that Realm. Aren\'t you kinda stupid?" William asked with a smirk, secretly preparing a wisp of Illusion Magic from behind his back.

The bald Cultivator\'s face contorted, clearly offended by William\'s harsh words. "It comes with age, you\'ll be bald too one day."

"Probably not. And even if I am, I definitely won\'t be as ugly as you." William replied without any hesitation. His Illusion Spell was complete, covering his entire body as he disappeared from everyone\'s sight.

Even the bald Cultivator couldn\'t sense where William had gone, completely fooled by the S-Rank Element. William\'s Illusion Affinity was almost as strong as Atticus\' Illusion Magic now, which became a great asset in this battle.

William suddenly appeared from a cloud of purple smoke next to Baldie, having pulled back his fist from the beginning and fully charged the new Power bonus effect.

A life-saving protective Amulet triggered, protecting the Cultivator from William\'s punch. A pale-yellow glow wrapped his entire body and formed a set of golden armor that made him look majestic, but the unfathomable image was broken instantly as the fist shattered his tough armor like fragile glass.

A second, more expensive looking, Amulet lit up as the first one shattered to pieces, absorbing the impact of William\'s punch like gelatin. His fist sank into the bald Cultivator\'s chest, but there was no visible pain on the man\'s face.

William pulled back his fist and went for another punch at his stomach, but the second was the same. The Cultivator only managed to react at this moment, kicking William away with incredible power, breaking a few ribs in the process and sending him into Blue Moon\'s City walls.

The Regeneration Talent kicked in, repairing the damage to William\'s body in an instant while he broke free from the imprint he made in the walls. William dusted off his clothing while a hole in his Illusionist\'s Cloak was repaired, then ran forward for another round with the man.

"Hey Baldie, do all of you have infinite treasures? What\'s up with that?" William complained. He was tired of having to break through everyone\'s treasures just to deal damage.

It would be better if they took off their protective Amulets and gave them to him. At least then they wouldn\'t go to waste.

"Stop calling me Baldie!" the Cultivator\'s eye twitched, clearly losing patience with William.

"My bad." William looked legitimately sorry as he bent over and pulled back his arm. A short distance portal opened in front of him which he stepped through in an instant and disappeared from the Cultivator\'s vision.

The man didn\'t see a portal appear in front of him, so he turned around only to find that William wasn\'t behind. He looked forward again, just in time to see William\'s fist coming from underneath aimed directly at a sensitive area.

"I guess I\'ll call you Ugly, then." William smiled viciously as his punch reached the Cultivator\'s treasure vault, his face pale as paper as the blow knocked him higher in the air.
