Chapter 293: Blessed By The Heavens? Probably Not.
William stored the bodies of both Vishnal and Perion, opting to save them for Necromancy later. As for the rest of the Pillars of Justice members, cast enslavement Arrays on any below the Soul Formation Realm while killing off those above that.
He only knew how to create an improved Perfect Enslavement Array and it would need more time to create one at the Complete level. While improved Perfect Arrays could restrain Soul Formation Cultivators greatly, it was still too easy for them to break free.
As such, it was too risky to enslave anyone above the Nascent Soul Realm.
William made sure his friends were still safe in the Livingwood Forest, then went through each individual Space Ring of the enemy Cultivators that had been enslaved. He didn\'t plan on taking their Space Rings this time, only combing through them for valuable items.
Well, valuable items including anything that could be sold for more than a piece of Gold, of course.
I\'m really defying my hoarder nature here, but I need them to at least have clothes to wear and food to eat. I can\'t take everything, or they won\'t be very useful to me... It\'s really a shame...
William didn\'t waste time sorting the items, only throwing them into larger Space Rings of his own. If the Cultivator had a Space Ring larger than his, it would be taken and replaced with a cheaper version that William had in possession.
His loot goblinry was meticulous and thorough.
At the walls of Blue Moon City, only the higher-ups were able to see the previous battle clearly. Up until the Ascension of Supreme Left and Unbreakable Right, none of the spectators knew who was going to win the battle.
When they saw William still standing while the other two had gone to the next Realm, everyone realized that the boy had forced the two so far that their only option was to leave Efretta. Their various Artifacts, equipment, Pills, Domains, and combat experience weren\'t enough to deal with someone four Realms below them.
It was unbelievable!
Of course, none of the higher-ups could be sure that William was actually in the Core Formation Realm. It was only a guess based on the Tribulation he went through.
If he was in the Golden Core Realm, a near-Superior Tribulation would have had much larger range, but who knew what had happened from then until now?
Someone else waiting in the shadows was also surprised at William\'s strength. It was Tenebris, who had been present since the end of William\'s Heavenly Tribulation. He initially wanted to confront the man the moment the last Lightning Bolt landed, but Supreme Left\'s clone showed up and was defeated in mere moments.
Following this, he intercepted various communications from the Yu Royal Family to the Pillars of Justice, warning them to prepare for battle against William. Fully understanding how the two organizations worked, Tenebris decided to sit back a while longer and wait for the events to unfold.
It wasn\'t long before the Mayor of Blue Moon City contacted the Pillars as well, eventually leading them to take action. At first, it seemed like the Pillars held an overwhelming advantage, but William\'s sudden increases in strength turned the situation more and more grim as time passed.
He even called forth a Soul Formation Flame Dragon that miraculously survived the Tribulation Transcendence breakthrough under the assault of other Cultivators.
Even after Supreme Left and Unbreakable Right showed up, William continued to hold his ground and matched his strength to theirs repeatedly, making it seem as if he had been playing around the entire time.
By the time the final battle ended, Tenebris had abandoned any thoughts of targeting William alone. It was clear he needed more manpower than just himself to take down such a character. He swiftly retreated from the battlefield before anyone noticed his presence.
William had noticed Tenebris halfway through checking the Space Rings, but he couldn\'t tell who it was and never sensed any Mana fluctuations from the figure, so he didn\'t bother to call the man out. If someone wanted to observe quietly, there was no reason to force him to show himself.
What if he was another enemy? William didn\'t have enough Mana to fight against another Tribulation Transcendence Cultivator.
He looked at the enslaved Pillars of Justice members with a complicated gaze.
What do I do with all these people? Should I just let them return to their organization? No, it might be too easy to tell they\'re different from before. Maybe I should make a prison for idiots like these to live in...
It didn\'t matter what happened to them as long as they didn\'t cause trouble for him or his friends, so William instructed the Pillars members to follow him for the time being. Their bodies shambled forwards like zombies as William struggled to command so many living beings at once, but he eventually got the hang of it.
He joined up with Carl and the rest after a few minutes, who had no words left to describe William.
From the moment they met him, they knew William was different than the others, but they never expected the man to go from Foundation Establishment combat strength to the peak of the World in just a few months.
Could they even consider themselves his friends at this point? They were leagues apart!
Charlotte felt ashamed at her weakness, while Tia and Gunther were more inspired to do their training. If William could do it, they could too!
Carl was the only one that hadn\'t changed much, having seen William\'s extraordinary combat strength multiple times already.
While this time was a little different from the rest, the difference between Nascent Soul and Tribulation Transcendence were indistinguishable in the eyes of a Foundation Establishment Cultivator like him.
"Damnit Will, how do you keep getting stronger every day? I wish I had your talent." Yuming grumbled as he looked at his Alchemy buddy.
"I\'m not that strong," William scratched his head as he laughed, "I just got a little lucky, that\'s all."
"Lucky? That\'s an understatement. Someone that wins while gambling can be called lucky. If a dog gives birth to puppies and the runt survives, that can also be considered luck. But this? This is beyond that.
You\'re blessed by the Heavens!" Carl exclaimed.
"Blessed by the Heavens? Probably not." William looked off in the distance to where his near-Superior Tribulation had formed. The Heavens hated him, a blessing would be a bad omen in his opinion.
Would a lucky person upgrade his Magic Elements in the worst possible order by accident? Probably not.
Even thinking further back, William remembered failing the Trial of Luck in the Trial Tower multiple times. He had pressed a button that had a 50/50 chance of winning or losing who knew how many times? A dozen?
That\'s definitely not lucky. Continue your saga on m|v-l\'e -NovelBin.net
