Chapter 431 431. SPECTACULAR
"You can't do this!" Diro shouted while Noah sat atop Cudgel's surface. They were all on it as he wanted them to feel the same terror their people did.
Noah kept all three men within his influence, so they couldn't move about, only stare at his figure in silence. His anger continued to emanate from his body, but the ice couldn't affect the metallic nature of his strange and terrifying weapon.
Nevertheless, snow fell from a rumbling cloud high above them. Which was the reason for the layer of white that existed all around them. It was strangely beautiful and terrifying at the same time.
Noah remained silent, deciding not to answer the man. The bartender had been shouting sentences similar to what he just said, and rather than make him rethink his idea, it just got him angrier.
He wanted to shout, to rip someone's head from their neck, but he would wait for the judgment he would pass through the falling of Cudgel.
The only reason the town existed below him was due to his waiting for the time limit he gave the escaping crowd.
"Only ten minutes to go," Noah muttered standing up. He walked over to Cudgel's edge and tried to see if he could get clear visuals of the world below, but just as he expected, they were a tad bit too high.
Nevertheless, he could sight the expanding whiteness that surrounded a small area from his point of view, while far away from the small area were also portions of whiteness that continued to move in a particular direction.
The passage of his golems and the large group was turning whole chunks of the forest around them into ice. While he had created 150 golems to surround the town in case anyone wished to escape. Their deaths won't be fast, however.
Noah had given the order to simply freeze the lower portions of such individuals, they would watch the world crash around them without being able to move.
True terror.
"Please," Diro's words managed to pull Noah out of his vengeful but exciting thoughts.
The man felt startled when he turned to face them and hoped his plea had gotten somewhere. However, his hope crumbled when he laid eyes on the cold smile that existed on Noah's face.
"Oh, so now you beg?" Noah mocked, walking closer to them.
"Did those kids beg you when you stabbed them multiple times, didn't their plea show in their eyes? Weren't you aware of their pain? But you said you enjoyed it. And now you beg," A chuckle escaped his lips before his expression turned emotionless.
"Your begging makes me angry. One more, and I'll look for a more painful and slow way to end them." He stated, meaning every word he spoke.
A chill swept all three men, and Diro lowered his head, unable to withstand the raw anger that existed in the man's eyes. He suddenly felt a wave of regret. But not for his evil actions against the children, but for the fact, the Sir George, or rather Noah, existed.
"You should never have been born," Diro cursed through his teeth, his head still facing Cudgel's shiny surface,
Noah suddenly burst into cold laughter, truly finding those words funny.
"I never was," he replied with a tone that suggested mocking honesty before walking away from them. His words brought unfathomable confusion to his audience, but they would never find out what he truly meant by it.
"Times up," Noah announced at some point, and nervousness filled his audience. The three men.
Creating a platform of wind below his feet, Noah sprinted away from Cudgel's figure, bringing the men with him, only that they had to suffer the fear of falling.
He arrived at a position northwest of the town, he wanted the three men to gain a clear view of the event about to occur.
Noah raised his hand and Cudgel moved. Slightly.
That event troubled the sky as its figure was weighty.
Rather than just sending Cudgel down like a speeding asteroid, Noah had another idea. A more terrifying and efficient idea. One that would leave a different result than what he was used to.
Searching the different abilities of his weapon, he arrived at a skill he had not utilized in a long long time.
[Elemental charge: When activated, Cudgel can take on the Elemental properties of whatever element the owner chooses, as long as they have it available to them:[Air, Lightning Ice][Locked: Water, Earth, Fire, Gravity, Space, Time, Light, Darkness]]
[Lightning charge: +500% to both physical, Elemental, and soul Damage]
[Cost: (General]50,000SE Upon initial activation, and 5,000 per minute. 75,0000SE to switch Elements]
Noah noted the addition of new elements in what Cudgel could turn to, even if they were locked due to the reality that he had not attained them.
The cost of the skill honestly shocked him now that he checked it, but he had to recall that Cudgel being a soul bond advanced with him. So it was natural that its requirements spiked when his level did.
Nevertheless, it only hinted at how powerful its effects would be.
Noah chose the ability and watched Cudgel undergo a spectacular transformation.
First of all, its figure began to emit a yellow light, then sparks started to appear as well.
A churning sound unfolded in the area surrounding that immense object and soon even Noah had to close his ears to withstand the sound.
The sky trembled, the regions below Cudgel experienced powerful gusts of wind, and the sound got so intense and powerful that it directly made buildings crumble and trees were crushed.
Noah watched and felt the intensity of the churning; now crackling sound, increase fierceness until it began to give him a headache.
Some directly passed out or had their eardrums rupturing from the event, while some suffered severe damages to their brains. Leaving them in a state no less tragic than death.
However, the sounds suddenly ended all together, sending a wave of relief over everyone watching, but their rest was short lived since a spectacular explosion of light that sent huge lightning bolts flying everywhere, unfolded.
Noah felt a bolt of lightning hit his chest and the world around him spun.
His figure blazed towards the ground, but pain didn't spread in his mind. Only the force of the bolt had affected him.
His soul bound couldn't hurt him. If it could, Noah knew he would be in a pitiful state.
"Damn!" he was forced to exclaim leaping into the air to grab the falling men. Having his focus shattered had let them into a free fall.
Noah managed to get Diro and one other person. The third however, had immediately turned to ash when a bolt had struck him.
