Chapter 774: A Professor From Tsing University Wanted To Be Friends
Huo Yao lowered her eyes and continued heading out. After the security guard let her through, she walked out. Some of the parents waiting outside quickly asked her whether the paper was hard.
Huo Yao went quiet for a couple of seconds before she looked at the parents. “… It was okay.”
“Does that mean it was relatively easy?” The moment they heard Huo Yao’s answer and saw how relaxed she looked, they automatically assumed this.
Those parents were not alone. The other parents standing outside the school felt the same way and instantly felt relieved that the paper was probably not so tough.
It did not cross their mind that the random student they had asked was in fact a straight-A student with incredible results.
Huo Yao nodded. The moment she saw her parents waving at her, she did not linger and walked over to them.
“I saw an ambulance enter the school. Did someone pass out?” asked Song Ning as she held her daughter’s hand. She did not ask about the exam paper the first thing when she saw her daughter, unlike the other parents.
She had absolute confidence in her daughter’s results.
“Uh huh. The person passed out from stress,” replied Huo Yao.
Song Ning nodded before squeezing her daughter’s arm. “Come on. It’s time to give my daughter a treat.”
Huo Yao raised her brows slightly.
Before long, she left the exam hall with her parents.
After the rest of the examinees left the school gates, they walked out with completely different expressions than Huo Yao. The first thing they said to their parents was how hard this year’s exam was.
Among these parents were the ones who asked Huo Yao about the paper earlier.
“Huh? Was it hard? The first girl who walked out said it was okay.”
Their child had above-average results. The moment he heard what his mother said, he instantly wanted to burst out into tears. “It was super hard. If you don’t believe me, ask the other students. Everyone thinks it was hard.”
The parents were at a loss. Perhaps the girl was too embarrassed to say the truth, so she said it was okay.
In the morning the next day, she would be taking Comprehensive Social Science and English in the afternoon.
Comprehensive Social Science was neither as tricky as the Chinese paper nor profound as the Math exam. Anyone with a decent memory and understanding would have an easy time doing it.
Huo Yao walked out of the campus after finishing her last paper and turned to gaze at the school entrance. She felt a little moved. The college entrance exam finally came to an end after two days.
The exam results would only get released in about 20 days.
After Huo Yao found her parents, Song Ning took out Huo Yao’s phone while they were walking to the parking lot and handed it to her daughter as she said, “Oh yes. You received quite a number of text messages.”
Huo Yao took her phone and unlocked it to see the Physics professor from Tsing University texting her. She promptly pressed her forehead.
After she got into the car, she finally replied to him: […I will think about it after my results are out.]
She proceeded to reply to everyone who had texted to ask about the exam. Before she managed to get to every message, Principal Yu called her on the phone.
Huo Yao sat up straight and answered the call.
“Do you remember Prof Zhao Lian?” asked Principal Yu right away.
Huo Yao acknowledged him softly.
“He asked me for your number. I have already sent it to him, so look out for his call.”
