Chapter 722 - 722: Chain of Tricks
Luo Feng’s speed had taken the man completely by surprise.
By the time he realized Luo Feng was right in front of him, all he could do was hastily raise his gun to point at Luo Feng’s head.
“Drawing your gun now? Isn’t it a bit late for that?”
Luo Feng snorted coldly, swiftly kicking the gun out of the man’s hand and restraining him in a single move.
‘Everyone, halt!”
Luo Feng commanded loudly. Seeing their leader captured, the gang hesitated, none daring to make a move and they all momentarily stood frozen.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” the man growled, his confidence undeterred despite being held captive. “Let me tell you, no one dares to cross me in Chinatown. If you don’t let go now, I swear you’ll regret it.”
Luo Feng was mildly surprised by the man’s audacity. “If you’re so confident, I wonder, if I were to break your arms and legs right now, would you still be able to brag as you just did?”
The threat silenced the man. It took a moment before he managed to stammer out, ‘Who the hell are you? Who sent you? What do you want?”
“I was merely passing through,” Luo Feng retorted. “You’re the one who picked a fight with me, remember?”
“What nonsense! You were loitering at my doorstep. I simply asked you to leave. Was that wrong?”
“I’d advise you to let me go, or else I’ll… Ah!”
Luo Feng had no patience for the man’s rambling. Wanting to see which was stronger, the man’s arrogance or his bones, Luo Feng broke the man’s arm. The man wailed in pain, unable to even form words.
“Why are you all just standing there? Finish him off!”
However, as soon as he shouted the command, Luo Feng snapped his other arm.
“You can continue giving orders if you’d like,” Luo Feng said with a smirk, “but
I’m not sure your body can take much more.”
The man was now completely deflated. “Everyone, stand down!”
Once the gang had finally halted, Luo Feng dragged the man into the street.
“You think you’re clever, huh?” the man spat. “I never provoked you. If you want a fight, bring it on. But consider whether you’ll leave here alive.” With that, Luo Feng pushed him to the ground. Beneath him was the very gun Luo Feng had kicked away earlier. The man would’ve loved to pick it up and shoot this arrogant youth, but with both arms broken, he couldn’t even lift it.
Initially, he contemplated ordering his men to seek revenge, but recalling the pain in his shattered limbs, he decided against it.
“Let’s go! Back to the house!”
The man turned towards his residence. He had initially planned to attend a business deal, but now, with both arms in tatters, seeking medical attention was the top priority. After all, who would take him seriously in this condition?
Once they had left, Luo Feng activated his system scan and indeed found a red marker within the man’s residence. Entering it now would be difficult.
His best chance was to infiltrate the compound discreetly. The only contact Luo Feng had in Florida was the leader of Andy’s gang.
Luo Feng had heard about Andy’s fate after their last encounter. Andy had been left severely injured but alive – a fitting punishment for someone like him.
With the man from Chinatown now having both arms broken, he would certainly seek medical attention. Luo Feng could use his connections to pose as an exceptional doctor, granting him access to their residence.
His plan proceeded smoothly. By the afternoon, Luo Feng received a call from one of the man’s subordinates.
Given the risks of this mission, Luo Feng chose to go alone, leaving Luna behind. Although she was deeply concerned, Luna knew she’d only be a hindrance if a fight broke out.
“Be careful,” she warned Luo Feng. “You’re walking right into their territory.
They might have an ambush set up or be armed.. It’s dangerous!”
