Chapter 860 Four Pillars: A Show of Power

Chapter 860  Four Pillars: A Show of Power

In the end, as the massive army the First Forger commanded shouted in unison as a response to the man\'s words, Valyr clenched his fists together in solidarity, feeling as if he were a part of the army as well.

Watching everything unfold from the side, a faint smile briefly appeared on Vaughn\'s lips as he watched Valyr\'s actions.

Though, as the young man was fully captivated by the show of force that was happening below them, the man\'s smile was ultimately left unnoticed, its meaning left unknown.

After the First Forger riled up the emotions of the ones who would be joining him in the fight, he and many others did one last check to see if they were ready to wage war against the orcs.

Fortunately, the process only took a few minutes at most, prompting the massive army the First Forger had gathered to set off in the direction of the orcs\' territory sometime later.

Witnessing this event from afar, the young man took in everything that was happening and committed it to memory, slowly filling in the gaps in his mind regarding the First Forger\'s memories.

At some point during the army\'s expedition, Vaughn did a few gestures with his hands, speeding up the journey of the army from their perspective.

Then again, even without Vaughn\'s intervention, the young man felt like the army was already moving at a considerably fast speed already.

From the auras the people making up the army were radiating, Valyr surmised that the weakest among them were around the peak of Rank 4 in terms of strength.

As for the average strength of the army, the young man was certain that it was around the late stages or the peak of Rank 5 after comparing it to the First Forger\'s aura.

Not only that, but Valyr also felt that a decent amount of them had also brought up their comprehended concepts to the Force level, prompting the young man to think that was the greatest show of force he\'d seen in his current life thus far.

Though, as he continued to watch the army move through Veldanyr, the young man began noticing a few peculiarities here and there.

For one, even though Vaughn had mentioned that the level of technology while the memory was happening was around the Late Middle Ages, the armor the people wore seemed to come from an age that was far more advanced than that.

\'It kind of resembles modern military armor in a way,\' thought Valyr after rummaging through his memories for a bit, tilting his head in slight confusion.

Aside from that, a decently sized faction of the army had brought along firearms, which did not really raise any alarms within the young man\'s mind.

But as he looked closer at these firearms, Valyr soon noticed that only a few among them used a firing mechanism that reflected the age of technology at the time.

Instead, the majority of the firearms made use of a flintlock firing mechanism, which was a firing mechanism that only became more prevalent after the Age of Scientific Revolution.

With those discoveries in mind, a series of questions began to linger within Valyr\'s mind, causing him to briefly wonder whether Vaughn was telling him the truth or not.

At the same time, it made him think about a hypothesis he had in the past regarding the First Forger\'s identity, thinking that he was someone like him who had knowledge from a previous time.

\'I wonder which one\'s correct…?\' Wanting to know more about the reality of the situation, Valyr eventually decided to ask Vaughn more about the matter, talking about how the army below them seemed to come from an age that was more advanced than the one the latter mentioned.

In response, the man reassured Valyr that the technology at the time was indeed around the Late Middle Ages, explaining to the young man that the weapons and armors the army had equipped turned out that way was all because of the First Forger.

"Just like the modifications you\'ve done to your arquebus, the First Forger had also done modifications to the weapons and armors you see before you," said Vaughn. "That\'s probably the reason why you think they come from a more advanced age."

Hearing those words, Valyr nodded in response as Vaughn\'s explanation more or less confirmed his second hypothesis of the First Forger being a reincarnator.

Though, after mulling over it for a bit, the young man slowly began to feel like that wasn\'t the case, recalling the outlandish theory he had before entering the memory.

In the end, Valyr decided to accept Vaughn\'s words as truth for the meantime while keeping an eye on anything that said otherwise.

Now with an inquisitive eye, the young man watched as the First Forger\'s army eventually arrived at the area that they were going to claim for their own.

Surprisingly, the orcs had already long appeared at the area, as if they were waiting for the humans to arrive.

Moving forward to the front of the army, the First Forger stared at the orcs at the forefront of their formation before radiating the entirety of his aura at full blast.

Whoosh!

With an Ancient class under his belt, as well as an artifact like the Dominion of Humanity, it went without saying that the First Forger\'s aura had overwhelmed many of the orcs at the front to the point that some of them had even fainted.

Seeing this, Valyr\'s eyes widened in surprise, quickly realizing that the aura the First Forger exuded before they departed was only a mere fraction of the man\'s true power.

Though, before he could dwell any longer on what level of strength the First Forger truly commanded, the orcs soon brought someone that could fight against the First Forger\'s aura with their own.

"Hmph. Do you really think we\'re going to hand this land over to you, Calamity of Khra\'adash?" Radiating an aura that did not lose out to the First Forger, a blue-skinned orc standing over three meters tall looked at the former with contempt.

"I know you won\'t, Gro\'gezar\'akh," replied the First Forger as he looked back at the orc with a calm expression. "Because of that, we have no choice but to use force."

"Foolish," replied Gro\'gezar\'akh, looking at the First Forger with a sneer. "The puny human really thinks it could defeat the orcs just because they had finally freed themselves from our grasp?"

"How utterly foolish. Watch as we return you and the entire human race to where you originally belong."

"Our slaves." The orc looked at the man with a malevolent grin.

In response, the First Forger inwardly let out a faint sigh before shrugging his shoulders. "Well, I\'d like to see you try."

"[The Will of Humanity]."

Whoosh!

Before Gro\'gezar\'akh and the orcs behind him could react, a domain spanning over a hundred meters in radius unfolded with the First Forger acting as the center.

In mere seconds, the humans within the domain gained a massive boost to their stats, causing their strengths to rise to levels that made some of the orcs shudder in fear.

As the center of this domain, the First Forger was also affected by this domain, his aura ascending to levels that allowed it to begin overwhelming the aura Gro\'gezar\'akh was releasing.

Of course, the man did not stop there, activating all of the stat boosting skills under his arsenal in order for his strength to reach unprecedented heights. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

For a brief moment, the First Forger radiated an aura that mentally brought all of the orcs to their knees, save for Gro\'gezar\'akh who still tried his hardest to endure the pressure the man\'s aura now brought upon him.

Yet, even he was forced to succumb as a fist that seemingly came from a god appeared above the entire orc army.

"[The Might of Humanity]."

Swoosh!

With thousands of humans near the First Forger at that very moment, what was originally a ferocious attack had immediately turned into an attack that seemed to threaten the rigidity of the planet itself.

Powered with the bolstered strength the man commanded, the fist soon met the ground the orcs stood upon, leading to a level of destruction that rivaled even the worst bouts of destruction Valyr had seen thus far.

Bang!

In less than an instant, over half of the force the orcs had gathered for this event were wiped out of existence by the fist.

As for those that near the vicinity of where the fist landed, their injuries varied from lethal to severe as their bodies were sent flying into the air for tens to hundreds of meters.

Surprisingly, there were still those that remained standing after the First Forger\'s show of power, with Gro\'gezar\'akh being one of them.

But with how helpless the orcs were against a single move made by the sole human before them, it was then that Gro\'gezar\'akh knew…

A new era was about to begin whether they wanted it or not.
