Chapter 136: The Sword-Shaped Forest
That heavenly voice was followed by her lewd bodythat was no longer in her skin-tight bikinirub up even harder against his chiseled body.
Her cute red lips approached his ears before a seductive voiceanalogous to that of the whispers of a she-devilmade its way into his earlobes.
"Just go down into that sword-shaped forest~ You will naturally find the way out if you search long enough~"
Such bold words flowed out of her luscious mouth before her unholy body slid its way down his muscular body. Her perky boobs and their hard tips unintentionally breezed past his stalwart figure.
|Hehe~!| An alluringly mischievous giggle followed as she snuggled back into her rightful spot.
"..."
'This girl is seriously' He let out a tired sigh before he shook his head in disbelief.
He let out his sorrows before his attention was quickly diverted to the large assortment of trees below.
"I just need to head down there to find my way out of this predicament, huh?" His skeptical words were followed by his daunting figure phasing through the expansive skies.
He barreled down to the earth below at unbelievable speeds as he landed on the ground surface with an explosive bang!
Usually, there would be a huge crater created wherever he landed, but surprisingly
The landscape could be counted as coming out of this crash landing with barely a scratch.
"These higher-level lands truly have an entirely different degree of defense when lined up against the areas around the 'Giant Spiritual Garden' and the 'Tree of Life'."
He spoke while walking in an arbitrary direction in the sword-shaped forest.
'There is also a high chance that this plot of land is not even ranked particularly high in the world of Asterion, and yet, the most I can do is level a small mountain'
He was given yet another piece of evidence that only further strengthened his understanding of the vast disparity between him and the Apex Forces of Asterion
However, his contemplative thoughts were soon interrupted.
He had already aimlessly walked around this sword-shaped forest for a few minutes while lost in deep thought.
His figure had approached an ominous area with long, black vines that stretched out for hundreds of metersthere were also odd drawings of weird round black creatures on the walls surrounding himwalls that seemed to pop up out of nowhere
The entire place was a pitch-black corridor that seemed to extend on forever; however, even though the perinnial darkness consumed the hallow halls in front of him, there was also an elusive source of dim lighting that filled the empty dark foyers.
Azmond had unknowingly entered such an eerily dark place before coming back to reality, only to realize that a pitch-black altar lay in front of his eyes.
The altar was over 500 meters in diameter, with long, protruding, obsidian-black pillars erected in every direction of the circular altar. The entire place could only be described as synonymous with that of an altar to summon a devil from the depths of hell
This altar was the only thing around him, as the 'corridor' that appeared like a phantom before he arrived here had already disappeared like a mirage that was never there to begin with.
"Well This is quite the situation I have gotten myself into. Don't you think so, Boundless?" A deep, raspy voice echoed out across the enclosed space.
Azmond's vexationevident in his twitching facial featuresbegan to look at the Docile brown-haired beauty with a smile that said, 'You told me to come here, genius! So how should I get myself out???'
The woman, currently under the pressure of his scrutinizing gaze, simply snorted before snuggling even deeper into his long, white robes.
**Pop! **
Something seemed to explode on his head as the vein bulging out began to leak down his ticked-off face.
His now-bloodied figure turned in the direction of the pitch-black altar before he trudged his way up the menacingly slick marble stairs that separated him from the centermost point of the altar. He was immensely peterbuded at this entire predicament, but he had no choice in the matter now
There must be something that could assist him in getting out of here, right?
Right?
....
He made it up the few dozen marble stairs before he made his way toward the center of the dimly lit altar.
**Patter** **Patter**
His muted footsteps echoed out like the loudest of boot stomps in this eerie place full of utter silence.
The footsteps continued as he and his 'koala' made their way to a black chamber that lay in the middle of the altar's center.
(The koala in question seemed to not catch the memo that said she could walk with her own two slender legs! She only needed to latch on when Azmond took flight due to her not being able to fly herself. So why had she not detached yet?)
'My Spot! Go away, Author!' She thought to herself as angry cat noises went off in the background.

** Angry Cat Noises Intensify **
(Whatever)
(Back to Azmond
.....
Azmond analyzed the area where he found himself and noticed that there were a bunch of these depictions of an odd-looking creature engraved all over the altar.
There was something oddly familiar about these engravings.
But he couldn't seem to put his finger on exactly what it was that made them seem so unalien to him.
"Wait" That was until he realized something.
"... Why do they kind of look like slime's?" He said with a face like he had just received a flash of epiphany!
"The only difference is that they have these peculiar golden horns and gold eyes, and they're black... Who has ever heard of a black slime?? Aren't they supposed to be blue?" His perplexed voice resounded out across the impermeable space that enclosed the pitch-black altar.
And then it happened
