Chapter 194: Do I Make Myself Clear...?

They didn't understand how a green-horned newcomer at the Late Foundation Establishment Realm with a power level below 10,000 could make them so fearful...

"I said Do I Make Myself Clear?" He repeated himself with a tone colder than sub-zero.

"Ye-Yes, we understand! We won't look at that woman anymore!" responded a struggling man with a well-defined frame and shiny armor molding his body.

He attempted to make his expression appear unaffected by Azmond's aura; however, not a single person there believed it. And he was the strongest of all the adventurers present!

The strongest of them all, being a C-Rank Adventurer, was barely holding himself up against the might of an F-Rank Adventurer!

Upon hearing the words spoken by the C-Rank Adventurer, the aura leaking from the newbie only seemed to grow stronger and stronger.

"?!?" "?!?"

The rest of the men present noticed that the aura wasn't decreasing at all! In fact, it was only increasing by the second!

They thought that all they needed was the strongest of them all to speak for them. But it looked like this greenhorn wanted more than just that!

"W-We won't look her way! Not in this lifetime, and not in the next!"

"Ya-Yahh, Yah, I would rather bury my family with my own two hands dozens of times over than ogle at that woman anymore!!"

"Me to-" "And me!" ...

Every single adventurer present in the guild immediately fell to their knees and groveled with blood drizzling down their faces!

The menacing aura dispersed as a dry tone sounded out, "That is all."

Following such a drop in the heaviness of the atmosphere, his slow steps resounding out as he moved his way over to the quest poster board with Crystalline, Emu, and Boundless.

"Phew! Tha-"

They were going to celebrate their close call with the devil before that same devil spoke once more.

"However If I see a single one of you staring at her like that again well"

"?!?!" "?!?!"

They didn't even need him to go in depth, as they already knew what he was trying to convey

The C-Rank Adventurer practically fell flat on his face when he saw the murderous gleam in the greenhorns' eyes!

"No-No! We would never even dream of it, sir!" He stammered, sweat dripping down his face like a never-ending rain shower.

"Good. I hope that is the case." His voice, bereft of emotion, sounded out before he focused his attention back on the quest board.

"..." "... "..."

All the Adventurer's got up off the cracked floors with relieved looks on their faces. They just wanted to go out and get lost in a quest for a few years! Lest they encounter this psychopath again!

HMHMH!

A humming sound echoed out, as, by some magical means, all the cracked floors began to recover to their original appearances in the blink of an eye.

Occurrences like the one caused by Azmond weren't uncommon in the Adventurer's Association, where setting up a miraculous recovery spell seemed plausible with cultivators capable of devastating entire countries with a swipe of their hand walking around...

....

"Which one are we going to take, Azmond?"

A quizzical voice dripped into Azmond's ears as a woman in a white-fox mask glossed over the various posters pinned on the Quest Board.

'That is a good question'

If he were being honest, he hadn't yet decided which quest to take. There were a few that looked quite enticing and had very lucrative rewards. But all of those ones were restricted to higher-ranking Adventurer's.

He was merely an F-Rank, so he could only take on lower-level missions.

Although the Adventurer's Association did have a rule where you could take on quests one rank above your own. That still didn't leave many options for him to choose from.

"Hmm I think we should just take all of the ones pertaining to monster hunting," he responded to Crystalline with a small smile.

"Is that allowed?"

"I don't see why not. It only states on my contract that as long as we don't hoard the quests to ourselves for a time exceeding 7 days, then we can accept as many quests as we want"

He truly wasn't lying about that rule of the Adventurer's Association. Because you really could accept as many quests as you want within your rank bracket. There was, of course, a penalty for hoarding quests past the 7-day mark without completing them all.

However, he had no doubt in his mind that he could complete all these low-level quests within a day!

"Should I help you take all these ones off, then?"

She pointed to a few dozen monster extermination missions that were pinned on the right side of the board.

"Sure, I would appreciate that very much, My Love~," he whispered into her ear with a playful grin on his face.

"Mhmm" She nodded her head a little before backing away from that sneaky man.

She didn't want to get ensnared in one of his alluring traps again.

Although

It was nice to be of some help to him every now and then, even if it was only the little things that she was helping him with.

She moved over to the right side of the board and started picking off all the posters with a small, beautiful smile on her face.

'As long as she's happy'

He looked on affectionately at the determined beauty before something else entirely was suddenly brought to his attention.

|What about me, Azmond?!?| A chirpy voice leaked out into his ears as a bouncy, brown-haired beauty looked at him with an eager countenance!

She wanted to help as well!

"..." He was a little surprised by the industrious attitudes of the two girls.

He would've never guessed those typically lazy women to be so enthusiastic when it came to picking off quest posters from a board.

Nonetheless, he wasn't one to deny free labor!
