Those two perky bunnies attached to Boundless appeared to resist such an activity, as they bounced and ricocheted a little too violently.
"..." Azmond stared blankly at such a 'view' before his gaze turned back to the crimson-colored world around him.
He still couldn't believe that such a personality was linked with such an unholy body, but that's besides the point!

*Cough Cough* Azmond coughed a little to refocus his mind, as before he knew it, that voluptuous body of hers had already clinged onto his back.
|Let's go, Azmond!!| Boundless beamed, her slopes dangling over the top of his head again.
'Why does she always impair my vision like this? What if an enemy attacks from above?'
He couldn't help but have useless thoughts as he took Emu in 'Quantum Katana Flux Form', and continued on his journey to the south.
That was where he would eventually find the elusive and mysterious 'Nightmare Council' that had been the main subject for quite a while now.

A few more days passed, as the two-week mark had already flown by.
Azmond and gang had been discreetly hunting all the monsters they found on their way, gaining insane amounts of experience points, gold, and cultivation base!
He had already advanced to the peak stages of Peak Core Formation, and it didn't look like he was planning to stop with just that.

His monster hunting frenzy continued on for another week, as Azmond had finally reached a point where he could break through into the Golden Core Formation Realm!
He was still a few weeks out from the territory of the Nightmare Council, so this was the perfect opportunity to breakthrough while he still had the chance.
And that was exactly what he did, as a few days passed by.
BZZZT!!
WAAAA!
Insane amounts of energy swirled around Azmond as he approached the very Zenith of his breakthrough into the Golden Core Formation Realm!
All the Qi within a hundred thousand-mile radius had already swarmed toward him with a passion; bombarding him with everything they had!
BOOOOM! BOOOOM!
His body exploded once... It exploded twice... It exploded thrice...
It blew up so many times that he had already lost count of the number of times his physical body had disappeared from the face of the planet!
Even his soul became cracked a number of times; however, Azmond had already leveled his 'Boundless Restoration' technique to level 4. So, such damage was no longer applicable to the current him.
Level 4 of 'Boundless Restoration' allowed the user to reincarnate from a drop of blood. But that wasn't all, as it also allowed damage to the soulwhich would normally be deemed a fatal inflictionto heal at rapid speeds!
Although such healing wasn't anywhere as fast as his body healed, it was still enough to survive a 'self-inflicted Tribulation' such as the one he needed to go through to breach the gap between Half-Step Golden Core Formation and the true Early Golden Core Formation Realm.
He was, after all, doing all this damage to himself on purpose. There was no such thing as 'going easy on himself' in his dictionary. And if it meant that his cultivation base could become even more perfect and his Qi even more refined, then he didn't mind causing so much damage to his body and soul.
After all, it was just pain.
As long as he didn't die from his own 'rashness', then he didn't care how much pain he had to experience. For that was his will...
A will that would stand unshakeable even through the vast vestitudes of time.

The energy levels only intensified after Azmond had reached the very end of his breakthrough; the Qi cyclone encapsulating him for tens of thousands of miles only seemed to become more active!
It didn't look like it was planning to go easy on him anytime soon!
'Just a little bit now, and I will have it.'

His thoughts echoed out inside his subconscious as yet another explosion occurred inside him, resulting in his body once again blowing up like a firework of blood galore!

Boundless mumbled to herself as she looked on with a heavy heart at the sight of Azmond constantly exploding into a bunch of meat pieces before going back together like some sort of science experiment gone wrong.

And it looked like she wasn't the only one in such a despondent mood, as Emu watched its hunting companion get bombarded by the Qi in the air.
It wanted to help its companion!
But, companion said no
Companion said something about the 'Qi becoming so reactive due to his own doing', but Emu didn't really understand all that.
Emu just wanted to help its companion!
"Mhmu!" Emu was about to go up there and devour that stupid Qi!
But then again
Companion said Emu would get no monster treats if it interfered
"Mhmu" Emu immediately calmed down before going back to Boundless's bed of soft, brown hair.
It was helpless in this situation...
RUMBLE!!
Tremors went through a part of the Crystal World as the Qi made one last final attempt at thwarting Azmond's breakthrough into the Golden Core Formation Realm!
Even the very world itself seemed to be preventing him from fully forming his golden core!
And that wasn't the only force working against him

A screech so loud that even the crystal surface began to crack echoed out across the lands!
"Hmm?" With his face only having one eyeball regenerated, Azmond turned his apathetic gaze toward the source of such a screech.
His indifference leaked out onto his expression as he saw a large, blue Vermillion bird flying in the distance.
It really only looked like a dot from where he was standing; however, as long as this bird followed the same trend that all the previous beasts sent after him did, then he had a feeling this bird was going to be utterly massive!
