After leaving the layer, the duo opened their eyes.

"Damn, I wonder how it's going to develop," Erix grinned with excitement. "I haven't seen a trace of Nihilir yet, so I am curious…"

"Me too," Rin nodded with shining eyes as she described her domain. "But we are taking a break now."

"Lunch is ready. Come on. It's already afternoon," Isabella's voice rang towards them from the second floor of the Sakura mansion beside the Dreanox Tree.

During the dinner, Aria and Isabella revealed shocking news to Erix and Rin.

"What? Really? That's tricky, alright," Erix rubbed his chin. "But I think good too."

"Yes. It's good for us," Rin grinned. "We basically carried everyone's asses in the last expedition, so it's fine if it doesn't have to be that way."

"But if Expedition time is 2 hours daily, then what time is when they attack?" Aria wondered.

"It will happen today, so we'll know soon," Erix said before putting a meatball into his mouth. "Yummy!"

"Bella-sis, you also leveled up in your Mystic Chef subclass?" Rin asked in surprise.

"Yep. Just reached 4th level today while cooking," Isabella merrily smiled as she nodded. "More tasty and better food from now on."

"Hehe, I will also break through in my Alchemist path today I think," Aria grinned. "We are going to be more strong and wreak those Atlantians who will invade us."

[Atlantis Invasion will begin in five minutes.]

But one by one, those who were allowed on the Blessed Island started gathering.

First arrived Zoe, Leon, and every Royal-order powerhouse of the Unfettered Fate guild because they were already on the island at various spots and were training using the resources.

They had just received a lot of rewards yesterday from the expedition, and some of them were immediately usable.

They gathered under the Dreanox Tree after seeing Erix and others dining in the Sakura Mansion.

After two minutes, Kenshin, Sameira, and the seven core members of the Heavenly Melody Clan also arrived.

Ten members of the Terrapin clan also arrived with them.

They started talking and preparing. Both guild groups already had plenty of experience fighting together, so they shared their improvements and rewards.

When only a minute was left until the invasion, Erix, Rin, Aria, and Isabella arrived.

"As you know, brats. You two are staying out of this, okay?" Kenshin said with a grin as he smashed his gauntlets.

"We know, we know," Erix grinned. "We shall leave the scrubs to you all."

"Hahaha…"

"Well, can't deny that," Sameira wryly smiled.

"Then as you know, we two will keep an eye on the area and prevent fatal damage to people and things alike," Erix said as he sat on a throne-like chair under the tree with Rin.

"The Sanctuary will be deactivated during the invasion, so we have to be careful," Rin said before she added with a wry smile, "Let's hope other guilds are prepared."

"They should and if they are not, they will pay for it," Erix shrugged. "Alright, I am teleporting you all the moment I sense Atlantians on our radar."

Everyone nodded.

"I'll create my army meanwhile, so I can also begin recovering for my new skills," Aria said as her eyes twinkled with golden spiritual power that gushed upward, visible to everyone in the naked eye.

Her sparkling golden spirit force transformed with Aria's Mana, conjuring various Animated Spirits.

Since Aria's affinities had increased, she made sure to create Animated spirits having each of her elements, or multiple at once.

Just as Aria finished conjuring her Army of 10,000 Animated Spirits, the countdown turned zero.

Both Erix and Rin closed their eyes, senses fully expanding.

However, they didn't need to look much because the portal that was present in every single Sanctuary Area after the Myth Emergance: Atlantis moved up and turned horizontal.

"Woah, so we will know where they come from, alright," Yony exclaimed. "It's right on top of our sanctuary area."

"Defense!" Kenshin shouted.

Everyone soon sensed the presence pouring, and Erix also teleported everyone to the center of their Sanctuary Area.

"Fifty….one hundred," Rin muttered. "Two hundred."

From the portal that expanded to become one kilometer in radius, covering 2/5th of the Sanctuary Area, two Tribes of Atlantis gushed out.

Baiandrones with their tentacles octopus head, wearing their mecha-bio armors and their weapons.

And Merfinns, with their humanoid upper half, and fishtail lower half.

However, Merfinns transformed soon, turning into aquatic beasts and releasing powers.

The combat immediately began with both tribes and all people in the Sanctuary Area attacking them.

"Five hundred," Rin said before she narrowed her eyes. "No more."

"Three hundred of them are at 20k Power Level or lower. Good," Erix raised eyebrows. "I guess this is also another way to progress for those that are left behind, but only if they put in effort."

"But their goal is to increase causalities among us," Rin said with doubtful eyes. "I don't think it should be this easy."

300 Atlantians were at 20k Power Level or below.

100 Atlantians were between 20k - 30k power level.

50 Atlantians were between 30k - 40k Power level.

40 Atlantians were between 40k - 50k Power level.

The remaining 10, five Baiandrones and five Merfinns were between 50k - 60k Power level.

The whole battle only lasted for five minutes before finishing. Killing each Atlantian gave them more experience than monsters.

But they also gave something else, which was unexpected. Not all Atlantians dropped rewards, but at least a quarter of them dropped Orbs of Lost Ancients.

Killing Baiandrones didn't give them anything except for experience to level up in the expedition, and they hadn't even encountered Merfinns in the expedition.

But people didn't get anything from Atlantians during the expedition. Yet, Mystic Root made them drop rewards during this invasion.

"It can't be this easy, right?" Erix scratched the back of his head as he looked at the portal.

Rin also looked at the portal, "Well, it's still there."

[Second wave beginning in five seconds.]

Right after everyone heard the voice, the big portal parted into five, at five different spots in their Sanctuary Area.

"There's the new school, Erix," Rin quickly as she pointed below one of the portals.

Erix's eyes were glinted with faint silver as he was teleporting people around.

Not just his guild and Heavenly Melody members, but every other powerhouse above 20k Power Level.

Based on their powers, he quickly distributed them under five portals.

"Phew, done."

The countdown hit zero, and all five portals spewed out Atlantians.

Erix and Rin also entered focused mode to prevent common casualties.

'These people are going to work for us eventually. The more manpower we have, the better for our United Sanctuary Plan.'

Rin nodded, 'We'll put our USA plan after clearing the floor quest. By then, we'll have a major power boost and more exertion over people.'

Not just this Sanctuary Area, but many other Sanctuary Areas received attacks.

These attacks and the intensity of this invasion were determined by Atlantis Expedition Leaderboard.

Since the Unfettered Kingdom's sanctuary area had the highest contribution thanks to the Unfettered Guild and Heavenly Melody, their invasion was going to be the toughest.

"Erix, will there be one more?" Rin frowned as she looked at the portals.

Both of them were floating as well because they had to take action a few times.

Half of the people had exhausted their Spirit Force, causing their combat power to basically reduce by 40-50%.

Alas…

Everyone saw the portal further dividing, turning into ten smaller portals.
